Dispatch Centers

"Communication Centers that answer emergency calls and dispatch response teams depend upon reliable radio and telephone communications to protect life and property in their communities. This term is related to any of the facilities used to “Dispatch” the Emergency Services. Some would also call this part of the “Infrastructure”, or “Base Equipment.
